Hi! I’m Tessie! I have been working as a Registered Early Childhood Educator since 1997 and have enjoyed all of the joys and challenges that come with this profession.

My personal early childhood philosophy is to follow the children and see where their interests take me as I guide them through the many levels of their development. I like to draw from multiple early childhood philosophies, including Montessori, Waldorf and Reggio, and use them to enhance the learning environment and holistic development of the children.

I began my career at Creative as a parent a decade ago. Both of my children attended the preschool program which had a very positive effect on them both.

Hi, I’m Carolina! I’ve been part of the Creative family for many years, and it truly feels like my second home . I love what I do and believe wholeheartedly that children learn best through play while being respected as the unique individuals they are.

Some of my favorite moments at preschool are singing, circle time, and sharing stories with my puppet friend Crocquelina —a big favorite with the children! 

My coworkers are not just colleagues but true friends, and I feel blessed every day to be surrounded by such wonderful humans.

Outside of Creative, I enjoy reading a good book, sipping coffee , listening to music on my walks, and celebrating Christmas with my family .

Jacquelynn chartres

Hi, I’m Jacquelynn! I have been part of the Creative Preschool community since 2012 when I began working at CPS Summer Camp in my late teens. I’ve used my gained experience to also work part-time as a nanny/caregiver to some of the families that I’ve connected with at CPS over the years.

I love art, crafts, decorating, and baking so I enjoy bringing my passion for the those into the classroom. You can often find me Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays usually in the office as part of the admin team or in the classroom engaging with the children. On my time off you can usually find me spending the day outdoors in nature with my two cats or travelling overseas adventuring with my husband! CPS has truly become a second family to me; always encouraging me to continue my passion of teaching, creating, and learning.

Hi, I’m Tahani. I work as an ECA. I’ve been working with Creative Preschool since 2024, before that l have been part of Creative Preschool community as an ECA student. My son was in the after school club more than ten years ago! I have learned a lot from the teachers and my son had a great time with the teachers and students. I am a single mom. I have only one son. You can usually find me in both locations, the ASC Program or in the classroom.

jennifer davison

Hi I’m Jennifer! I’m a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) and experienced child care leader with more than three decades of experience supporting children, families, and early learning teams. A 1995 graduate of Humber College, I have served as both an educator and supervisor at several child care centres. I joined Creative Preschool in 2012, where I continue to bring my knowledge, leadership, and commitment to inclusive early learning. In recent years, I have played a key role in relocating Creative Preschool to its new location, helping guide the organization through this significant transition.

Earlier in my career, I was appointed supervisor of a new child care centre in Mississauga. In that role, I contributed to every stage of opening the for-profit centre—from construction and start-up planning to day-to-day operations. The experience strengthened my leadership skills and affirmed that my true passion lies in non-profit, inclusive child care. I am extremely passionate about building meaningful relationships with children and families. I value the opportunity to spend time with young children while helping families navigate child development and connect with community resources.

Raised in the country and now a long-time Toronto resident, I am the mother of an adult daughter with special needs and stepmother to a young adult son. Outside of work, I enjoy country fairs, musical theatre, and camping with my husband, our children, and our rescue dog, Chewy.

Zainobia Gajiyani

Hi! I'm Zainobia! I’m a RECE and have had the pleasure of working at Creative Preschool for over 30 years. I am currently working as the Supervisor at our St. Aidan’s and a Student Supervisor for ECE Students. I am fortunate to be able to serve as the Liaison between parents, teachers and the school personnel.

My daughter graduated from Creative and is now in University. She has fond memories and has received invaluable experiences in volunteering at the Preschool.

My interests include reading, dancing, traveling and going for long walks with our dog Khloe.

Hi! I’m Vanessa! I have been a teacher at Creative Preschool since 2009. I have two grown children, one of whom is a graduate of CPS. 

I'm a proponent of play based learning and giving children the space and time to grow and learn at their own pace. I understand the need in the early years to provide children with a patient, nurturing environment that is attuned to each child's unique needs.

You can find me in the centre four days per week.

NITISH TANWAR

Hi, I’m Nitish! I am a registered Early Childhood Educator who graduated from George Brown College in 2026. I originally started as a placement student here at Creative Preschool and by God’s grace I was accepted onto the CPS team. From the beginning, I have loved being a part of the team in such positive, loving and growing environment. I believe kids learn through play, exploration and positive relationships. I am honoured to play a role in children's early years and to contribute positively to their growth and lifelong learning. The best part of my day is spending it in the classroom and seeing the children’s smiling faces looking back at me.

tarana mohsina

Hi, I’m Tarana! I have been a part of the Creative Preschool since 2022. Working with children is fun! I love that no single day at work is the same! 

As an Educator I create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children. I  really enjoy playing with the children and trying to give them all my attention. 

I like Arts, reading, watching Harry Potter movies. I also love going to the beach, and spending time with my family. I am so delighted to be a part of the CPS family, and always excited for the new school year!

Hi! I’m Fany! I joined Creative Preschool as an RECE teacher in 2001. I am married with 2 active boys in sports who keep me busy. I love to watch sports and hang out with my family and friends.

I have enjoyed every aspect of teaching and have learned so much from children.  Children learn best when the learning environment is designed to meet the developmental needs of each child and one that encourages exploration, creativity and independence.
