Hi! I’m Tessie! I have been working as a Registered Early Childhood Educator since 1997 and have enjoyed all of the joys and challenges that come with this profession.
My personal early childhood philosophy is to follow the children and see where their interests take me as I guide them through the many levels of their development. I like to draw from multiple early childhood philosophies, including Montessori, Waldorf and Reggio, and use them to enhance the learning environment and holistic development of the children.
I began my career at Creative as a parent a decade ago. Both of my children attended the preschool program which had a very positive effect on them both.

Hi, I’m Carolina! I’ve been part of the Creative family for many years, and it truly feels like my second home . I love what I do and believe wholeheartedly that children learn best through play while being respected as the unique individuals they are.
Some of my favorite moments at preschool are singing, circle time, and sharing stories with my puppet friend Crocquelina —a big favorite with the children!
My coworkers are not just colleagues but true friends, and I feel blessed every day to be surrounded by such wonderful humans.
Outside of Creative, I enjoy reading a good book, sipping coffee , listening to music on my walks, and celebrating Christmas with my family .

Hi, I’m Jacquelynn and I have been part of the Creative Preschool community since 2012. My experience working with children began in my late teens and I discovered my passion. In the past I have also worked as a nanny. I love art and crafting and enjoy bringing my passion for the two into the classroom. When I am not at work you can probably find me anywhere there are cats.

Hi! I’m Jennifer! After graduating from Humber College in 1995, I have been honoured to work as a RECE and supervisor at a few child care centres and now at Creative Preschool where I started in 2012. In my career, I was also appointed to the position of Director of a new centre in Mississauga. There, I was involved in all aspects of starting a brand new, for profit child care from the ground up, construction and everything. Also, I learned my true passion is in non profit, integrated childcare.
My passion is working with children and families. I love time spent with little ones and being able to support families with my knowledge of child development and resources in this community.
I was raised in the country and have lived in Toronto for many years now. I have an adult daughter with special needs and am a step Mom to young adult son. My favorite pastimes are country fairs, musical theatre, camping with my hubby, the kids and our rescue dog Chewy!
laura enarson
Hi! I’m Laura, and I have had the absolute pleasure of working at Creative for over a decade, first as a student and ECA and then since 2014 as an RECE. I got lucky with my first job as a teacher here and have been inspired ever since.
I have had a lifelong interest in childhood education! One of my favourite aspects of my job is helping different minds and bodies grow into their full potential. I use my knowledge to scaffold their skills while following their interests and honouring their unique selves. I enjoy incorporating a variety of approaches in my teaching, with a particular leaning towards Waldorf, Reggio, and nature-based learning. Additionally, I have experience and a keen interest in neurodivergent approaches.
Here's a fun fact about me: I grew up in The Gambia before moving to Canada in Grade 6. Outside of teaching, I am deeply involved in the nerd world of conventions, cosplay, gaming, and anything creative and crafty that I can get my hands on. I am excited to meet and learn with you all!

My daughter graduated from Creative and is now in University. She has fond memories and has received invaluable experiences in volunteering at the Preschool.
My interests include reading, dancing, traveling and going for long walks with our dog Khloe.

Hi! I’m Vanessa! I have been a teacher at Creative Preschool since 2009. I have two grown children, one of whom is a graduate of CPS.
I'm a proponent of play based learning and giving children the space and time to grow and learn at their own pace. I understand the need in the early years to provide children with a patient, nurturing environment that is attuned to each child's unique needs.
You can find me in the centre four days per week.

Hi! I’m Steph: teacher, booklover, mother, administrator. To me Creative Preschool is a magical place, a place I knew I had to work from the moment I entered the doors with my oldest child in 2013. In my role as Administrator I am fortunate to be able to get to know all our incredible families. When I’m not at work, I’m usually running one of my two CPS grads to baseball or synchronized skating. I also write a children’s book blog and am active on Instagram @storytimewithstephanie. If you are in need of some great Canadian children’s book recommendations, check things out there or send me a message. I will always have time to talk books!

Hi, I’m Irene. I am a RECE, and I enjoy being a part of the CPS team. My connection with CPS started in 2007, when one of my daughters had the opportunity to attend CPS and watching how the teachers talk to the children got me hooked.
My passion for working with children started at a very young age, when my mom ran an at home daycare for 20 years. I followed in her footsteps, and for a decade, I had the wonderful opportunity to run a successful at home daycare for right here in The Pocket.
As an Educator, I strived to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for children to grow and feel a sense of belonging.
tarana mohsina
Hi, I’m Tarana! I have been a part of the Creative Preschool since 2022. Working with children is fun! I love that no single day at work is the same!
As an Educator I create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children. I really enjoy playing with the children and trying to give them all my attention.
I like Arts, reading, watching Harry Potter movies. I also love going to the beach, and spending time with my family. I am so delighted to be a part of the CPS family, and always excited for the new school year!

Hi! I’m Fany! I joined Creative Preschool as an RECE teacher in 2001. I am married with 2 active boys in sports who keep me busy. I love to watch sports and hang out with my family and friends.
I have enjoyed every aspect of teaching and have learned so much from children. Children learn best when the learning environment is designed to meet the developmental needs of each child and one that encourages exploration, creativity and independence.
